Gavi James

Gavi James has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. They started their career as a Kindergarten Teacher at Congregation Tikvat Jacob in 2013 and later worked as a Trapeze Instructor at Trapeze School New York from 2011 to 2014. Gavi then served as a Women's Fitness Associate at Paragon Sports in 2015. From 2016 to 2018, Gavi held administrative and education roles at StoryCorps and Academy for Jewish Religion. In 2017, they joined 501 Auctions as an Account Manager. Gavi also worked as a Trapeze Instructor at STREB Laboratory for Action Mechanics (SLAM) from 2015 to 2019. In 2016, they became an Education Intern at StoryCorps. Gavi's experience in people and talent management began in 2018 when they became a People & Systems Associate at UpStart. They later served as a People & Systems Manager and then as Director, People & Talent at the same company. Currently, Gavi is working at Wunder as a Senior Recruiter and has recently transitioned to the role of Director, Talent Acquisition.

Gavi James received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Hampshire College, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. They also obtained certifications as a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from SHRM in January 2021.
