Josh Benson

Josh Benson has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Josh started their career at BELLSOUTH TELECOMMUNICATIONS INC as a Home Networking Support specialist in 2003. In 2006, they joined LogicSouth as a Linux Systems Administrator and worked there until 2009. At Charlotte Street Computers, they served as a PC Tech from 2009 to 2011 and later became the PC Department Manager for a year. Since 2016, they have been with StackPath, where they held various roles such as Tier II NOC Technician, System Engineer, Platform Operations Technical Lead, Platform Operations Manager, Director of Platform Operations, and most recently served as a Site Reliability Engineer. In 2022, they started working at Wurl as a DevOps Engineer and transitioned to the role of Site Reliability Engineer in 2023.

Josh Benson obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of North Carolina Asheville, graduating in 2016. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College, completing their studies in 2013. In terms of additional certifications, in June 2021, Josh obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
