Tara Davis

Tara Davis has had a diverse range of work experience in various accounting and bookkeeping roles. Tara currently works at Wursta as an Accounting Manager, where they help clients make connections between business initiatives and cloud infrastructure. Prior to this, they worked at AVL Growth Partners as a Senior Accountant.

Tara also has experience at Dirigo Collaborative, where they were a Senior Accountant and Bookkeeper. In these roles, they managed the full-cycle bookkeeping cycle for multiple ventures, reviewed monthly financials, performed audits of fixed assets, and recorded depreciation journal entries.

Before that, Tara worked at Financial Foothold as a Bookkeeper, managing remote bookkeeping for several clients. Tara processed payroll and reconciled accounts, ensuring accuracy in financial statements. Tara also worked at Wuest Group as a Manager of Client Relations, handling various bookkeeping tasks and managing a small office.

Tara's earlier experience includes roles as a Bookkeeper at Austin Shipping Solutions/Capitol Courier, Office Manager at Joe-Brown Construction, LLC, Project Administrator at Goshawk Environmental Consulting, Inc., and Personal/Executive Assistant in a freelance capacity. Tara also owned and operated their own business, Texspresso, for several years.

Tara Davis completed their education at two different institutions. From 1997 to 2003, they attended Austin Community College, where they studied history and finance. Tara did not obtain a degree during this period. Following that, from 2003 to 2005, they attended Texas State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History. In addition to their academic qualifications, Tara Davis obtained a QuickBooks Certification from Intuit in August 2020.
