Andreas C. Solomos

Andreas C. Solomos, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in various scientific and research roles. Andreas C. worked as a Director at WuXi Advanced Therapies, where they supported Virology Operations subgroups and oversaw a team of approximately 60 scientific personnel. Andreas C. was responsible for initiating, supervising, and developing project requirements, optimizing assays, and leading R&D/validation/qualification activities in accordance with regulatory guidelines. Prior to this role, they served as an Associate Principal Scientist at WuXi Advanced Therapies, where they supervised a team of scientific personnel and directed investigational research activities.

Before their time at WuXi Advanced Therapies, Dr. Solomos worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Trinity College Dublin. Additionally, they held positions at Fox Chase Cancer Center, where they worked as a Postdoc and completed their PhD thesis as a Graduate Student under the supervision of Dr. Glenn Rall. Andreas C. also worked briefly as a Biology 101 Lab Professor at Arcadia University.

Andreas C. Solomos, Ph.D. obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Arcadia University, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Andreas C. then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Microbiology and Immunology at Drexel University College of Medicine from 2011 to 2015.
