Bin Zhao

Bin Zhao serves as the Associate Director - Principal Scientist II at WuXi AppTec since March 2023, leading a new drug development team and overseeing project management from concept design to preclinical research while enhancing experimental efficiency through assay development. Prior experience includes a pivotal role as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Stanford University, focusing on precise gene editing technologies and significant research in genomics. Previously, Bin Zhao held a Visiting Fellow position at the National Institutes of Health, where a single-cell sequencing platform and CRISPR knock-in mouse models were developed. Bin Zhao has also presented research at conferences and volunteered at the USA Science & Engineering Festival to promote STEM. Bin Zhao earned a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Fudan University, where leadership in epigenetics research was demonstrated.
