Kevin Denny

Kevin Denny has over 30 years of work experience in pharmaceutical toxicology. Kevin is currently the Executive Director of Technical Operations (Toxicology) at WuXi AppTec since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a consultant at KD Tox Consulting LLC, starting in 2018. During their time as a consultant, they provided expertise in nonclinical toxicology, regulatory planning, and GLP study oversight monitoring. Before starting their consulting career, Kevin held various roles at Teva Pharmaceuticals, including Associate Director and Project Leader Nonclinical Safety, where they supported drug discovery and development. Kevin also worked at Cephalon as an Associate Director and Senior Manager in Drug Safety and Disposition, managing nonclinical safety evaluations and interacting with clinical and nonclinical development teams. In their early career, Kevin worked as a Senior Scientist and Study Director at Argus Research CRL, responsible for protocol preparation, study oversight, and report preparation. Kevin started their career as a Scientist at Sanofi. Kevin has extensive experience in planning, designing, and implementing drug development strategies and has successful track records in multiple regulatory submissions and approvals.

Kevin Denny has a strong education history, beginning with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Wake Forest University in 1978. Kevin then pursued a Master's degree in Toxicology at North Carolina State University from 1982 to 1986. Continuing their education, Denny obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Development from California Coast University from 2000 to 2003. Kevin further enhanced their expertise in Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance by obtaining a Master of Science (MS) degree from Temple University from 2003 to 2006. Additionally, in 1994, Denny received certification as a Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology from the American Board of Toxicology (ABT).
