Shaymas Hussain

Shaymas Hussain has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to the present day. Shaymas began their career as an Accident and Emergency Clerk at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in 2007. Shaymas then progressed to become a Senior Acute Admissions Officer - Team Leader. In 2013, they transitioned to working at Covance, where they held multiple roles including Toxicology Study Report Associate, Toxicology Study Coordinator, and Budget and Proposal Associate. In 2018, Shaymas joined Concept Life Sciences as a Proposal Manager in Pharmaceutical Development & Preclinical. Currently, they are employed as an Associate Director of Business Development at WuXi AppTec, starting in September 2021.

Shaymas Hussain earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Bradford in 2011. Shaymas then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Drug Toxicology & Safety Pharmacology from the same university, completing it in 2012.
