Shruti Masand

Shruti Masand, Ph.D., is a Senior Scientist I in the DMPK group (Metabolism) at WuXi AppTec since September 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Scientist III and Ph.D. Graduate Researcher at Rutgers University - Newark from August 2015 to October 2022, where Shruti Masand effectively planned and executed laboratory processes, completed projects on polychelatogens for water purification, and developed an organocatalytic enantioselective rearrangement for alkaloid synthesis. In addition, Shruti Masand worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, providing mentorship in various chemistry subjects, proctoring, and grading examinations. Education includes a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Rutgers University - Newark (2015-2022) and a Bachelor's degree in Dyestuff Technology from the Institute of Chemical Technology (2011-2015).
