Yang Yang

Yang Yang started their work experience as a Lab Technologist at Almac Group in 2012. They performed molecular biological techniques and were responsible for genechip array, qPCR, sequencing, and RNA and DNA extraction. They then became a Senior Scientist at Almac Group in 2016, where they supervised multiple projects and optimized laboratory testing methods. They also provided training and support for a clinical trial setup in China. In 2018, Yang Yang joined Fusion Antibodies plc as a Business Development Executive before transitioning to a Business Development Manager role in 2020. In this role, they developed proposals and supported the management of international distributors while nurturing sales inquiries. Yang Yang later joined Randox as a Product Specialist in 2019, where they generated revenue and developed strategies for business improvement. Currently, Yang Yang is an Associate Director of Business Development EU at WuXi AppTec, starting in 2023.

Yang Yang completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Shenyang Pharmaceutical University from 2006 to 2010. Later, from 2010 to 2012, they pursued a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Queen's University Belfast. Lastly, from 2017 to 2018, they obtained a Foundation degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing.
