Chris Ruffin

Chris Ruffin is an experienced media professional currently serving as the Managing Editor at WWAY-TV, LLC since October 2020. Previously, Chris worked at CP24/Bell Media from June 2011 to September 2020 as a Producer, overseeing editorial content for a 24-hour news channel. Earlier positions include Executive Producer at WWAY News Channel 3, where responsibilities included managing a newsroom staff of 25, and roles as Producer and Senior Producer at WNCN and WWAY News Channel 3, respectively. Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, obtained in 2003, and a high school diploma from Bladenboro High School, earned in 1988.
