Vriko Yu

Vriko Yu is an accomplished professional with significant expertise in environmental conservation and development. As Co-Founder and CEO of Archireef since September 2020, Vriko Yu has been instrumental in leading initiatives that promote marine ecology. In parallel, Vriko Yu has contributed to various committees within the HKSAR Government, including the Lantau Development Advisory Committee, the Green Technology and Finance Development Committee, and the Country and Marine Parks Board Committee since March 2021. Additionally, involvement with the Airport Authority Hong Kong as part of the Marine Ecology Enhancement Fund Management Committee commenced in October 2022. As a member of WWF-Hong Kong's Education Committee since 2019 and having served as Assistant Director for Reef Check Foundation from January 2017 to 2020, Vriko Yu demonstrates a strong commitment to both education and marine environmental stewardship. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biological Sciences at The University of Hong Kong, Vriko Yu holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
