Lydia Denworth is a seasoned science journalist and author with a prolific career spanning over two decades. Currently a Contributing Editor at Scientific American and a Blogger for Psychology Today since 2014, Denworth explores themes related to sound, perception, language, and learning. As a Book Author at W. W. Norton & Company, Inc., Denworth published "FRIENDSHIP: The Evolution, Biology and Extraordinary Power of Life's Fundamental Bond" in January 2020, which was recognized as a must-read nonfiction by the Next Big Idea Club. Previous works include the memoir "I CAN HEAR YOU WHISPER," reviewed positively by Publishers Weekly, and contributions to esteemed publications such as The Atlantic, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal.
