Sarah Kate Purnell

Sarah Kate Purnell has extensive experience in sales and editorial roles, currently serving as a Humanities Sales & Market Development Specialist at W. W. Norton & Company, Inc. since June 2018, and previously held positions as a Senior Sales Representative and Sales Representative within the same organization. Prior to this, Sarah was an Editorial Intern at Pace Communications and a News Writer for The Carolinian, where responsibilities included submitting content and collaborating with the editorial team. Additionally, Sarah held the position of Editor in Chief at Odyssey, managing a team and overseeing content strategies. Earlier experience includes working as an Assistant Teacher at KinderCare, focusing on early childhood education. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies, English, and American Sign Language from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, earned in 2018.
