Juan Cordero

Juan Cordero has extensive experience in the broadcast industry, currently serving as the Director of Technology at FOX 17: WXMI TV since June 2019. Previously, Juan held positions as Chief Engineer and News Operations Manager at NBCUniversal from August 2015 to June 2019 and August 2014 to August 2015, respectively. Prior experience includes serving as News Operations Manager at Wapa TV from January 2009 to July 2014, and a Broadcast Producer at Young & Rubicam from February 2003 to December 2008. Juan has a strong technical background, with expertise in systems administration for Avid and Grass Valley technologies. Educational qualifications include a BA in Tele-Radial Communications from the University of Puerto Rico, complemented by a certification in Avid Media Composer Editing from Future Media Concepts.
