Lauren Catherine Brits

Lauren Catherine Brits has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Lauren Catherine is currently serving as a Social Media Consultant and Alumni Advisor/Mentor at X in a Box since November 2022 and October 2022 respectively. Previously, they worked at Upgrades Education as an English Tutor and Language-based Caregiver from October 2018 to December 2021. Lauren Catherine also interned as a Crowdfunding Intern at My Wings from November 2020 to February 2021.

In terms of their freelance work, Lauren worked as a Freelance Writer and Illustrator at BK Publishing from April 2012 to June 2017. Lauren Catherine has experience writing reviews for children's novels and composing full-length articles on various topics. Additionally, they contributed four illustrations for an article during their time there.

Prior to that, they served as a PR/Communication Manager at PinkDrive in 2013 and as an Account Manager at Redink Multimedia Services Ltd. from October 2011 to February 2013. Lauren Catherine also worked as a Communications Officer at Serendipity Events, Promotions, and Exhibitions from June 2010 to September 2011.

Lauren's earlier roles include working as a Procurement Administrative Assistant at PBMR from June 2007 to February 2011 and as an Administration Officer at Camden Council: Homeless Household Support Services from March 2006 to November 2006.

Lauren Catherine Brits pursued their education in various institutions and fields of study. From 2018 to 2020, they attended Falmouth University, where they obtained a Master's degree in Writing for Script and Screen. Prior to this, from 2010 to 2014, they studied at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika for Non-degree Purposes in the field of Psychology. During the same period, in 2012 and 2013, they also pursued an Honours degree in Psychology at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika. In 2010 and 2011, they briefly attended the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria for Non-degree purposes in Psychology.
