Business Development Director - Northern Europe at X-Lab

Sarah Appleby has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Sarah is currently working as a Business Development Director at X-Lab since November 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Business Development Manager at ORCHA from September 2021 to November 2022.

In this role, they established relationships with mental health leads across NHS, social care, education, and emergency services to identify challenges and facilitate the adoption of mental health innovations.

At Health Education West Midlands, Sarah served as a Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Programme Manager from August 2016 to March 2017. Sarah managed various workforce development projects and was involved in the development of the Assistant Practitioner role and promotion of apprenticeships in the healthcare sector.

Sarah's early career includes roles at South Staffordshire and Shropshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, where they worked as a Project Lead - Assistant Practitioner from May 2014 to January 2016, and as a Workforce Development Facilitator from August 2012 to May 2014. Sarah also had administrative experience at the trust.

Their first role was as a Customer Services Officer at Namoi Cotton Cooperative Ltd from 1998 to 1999.
