Véronique da Silva

Véronique da Silva has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries. Their most recent position was at X, the moonshot factory, where they served as an Executive Business Partner to Astro Teller. In this role, they effectively managed complex CEO requests, calendaring, international travel, logistics, and expense reports. Véronique also interfaced with C-level executives and VIP external stakeholders, overseeing day-to-day operations and prioritizing tasks. Additionally, Véronique filtered incoming requests for the CEO as a speaker and planned travel and events aligned with the organization's strategic goals.

Prior to their role at X, the moonshot factory, Véronique owned and operated their own photography and design business called Da Silva Photography Design. As the Photographer, Art Director, and Event Producer, they collaborated with architects, designers, ad agencies, PR and marketing firms, and government leads to develop brands, plan and execute photography shoots, and produce final marketing materials. Véronique also managed vendors and facilitated cross-discipline collaboration.

From 2017 to 2019, Véronique worked as the Recruitment and Events Manager at the Victoria Division of Family Practice. Véronique successfully recruited and relocated family physicians to address the city's need for healthcare professionals. Véronique also managed sales and marketing efforts and organized physician-focused events.

Furthermore, Véronique founded Girl's Night Mixer, a members-only networking and empowerment learning event series for women in business. These events attracted top speakers, featured live art, and became a successful fundraising platform for a women-focused agency.

In 2012, Véronique served as the Operations Manager at TicTalking, where they directly assisted the CEO and CCO in approaching venture capitalist investors during the seed fundraising phase. Véronique managed key investor portfolio accounts, built relationships, gathered competitive intelligence, and supported business development initiatives.

Lastly, Véronique has previous experience as a Photo-technician in the photo-archives division of the National Film Board of Canada.
