Jie Bing

Jie Bing is an AI Engineer and Researcher at xAI since June 2025, focusing on advancements in the Grok project. Previously, Jie Bing worked at LinkedIn from June 2013 to June 2025, first as a Staff Software Engineer where contributions included the development of an A/B Testing Framework and the Unified Metrics Pipeline, and later as a Staff Machine Learning Engineer specializing in generative AI and foundational models, particularly the in-house LLM, EON. Prior experience includes a role at Snapchat, where Jie Bing established a company-wide A/B testing framework and optimized infrastructure, as well as a research assistantship at the University of Massachusetts Amherst working on a search engine project. Jie Bing holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
