Spencer LaClair began their career in 2011 as a Property Manager for Greystar, where they were tasked to work with communities going through the upgrade process or new construction. In this role, they had a firm grasp on marketing, accounting, employee management, and implementation of new technologies. In both cases, Greystar was able to assist the development/ownership team in the occupancy and sale of both properties within 12 calendar months.

In 2015, LaClair moved to Yardi as an Outside Sales Account Executive. In 2016, they joined Xceligent as a Sr. Account Executive (SaaS), generating revenue of over $1.2 million in just under 18 months and ranking #4 out of 30 in net new contracts secured in 2017. Spencer also managed and trained a team of 5 SDRs who assisted in generating new demo leads.

LaClair then moved to Crossover for Work in 2018 as a Sr. Account Executive (SaaS). In 2019, they joined Amazon as a Sales Leader, where they were named to the "high roller" club in 2020 and spearheaded over $2.3 million in sales for quarters 2-4 in 2020. Spencer also held the roles of Sales Team Lead and Senior Account Executive.

Most recently, LaClair joined ProcurementIQ in 2022 as a Business Development Manager. In this role, they closed large, complex deals with enterprise Fortune 1000's, executed and managed a full sales & implementation cycle of cloud-based solutions, targeted, identified, and vetted C-suite and decision-makers across all industry sectors, developed and delivered presentations to prospective clients, achieved and exceeded established quarterly and annual sales goals, stayed current on emerging technologies and trends in target markets, drove a consultative sales approach with a prospective client, proactively researched companies and industries to find leads and qualify prospects, and identified and targeted new business opportunities and strategic partners across all verticals.

Prior to joining ProcurementIQ, LaClair was a Software Contractor and Business Development Leader at Xailient Inc. in 2021.

Spencer LaClair began their educational journey in 2000 when they attended Lakenheath High School (USAFB, England) where they studied Writing, General. From 2005 to 2007, they attended Hillsborough Community College. In 2007, they completed their Bachelor of Arts - BA in Humanities/Humanistic Studies from the University of South Florida.
