James Collins has extensive experience in project management and operational leadership, currently serving as the Head of Project Operations at Xalient since September 2017, after holding the title of Senior Project Manager. Prior roles include Project Manager at Daisy Group and Serco, as well as Captain in HM Forces, where James commanded Viking Troop within the 214 Signal Squadron. James began a military career as a Special Communicator, providing global communications support and electronic warfare capabilities throughout operations, notably in the Middle East. James holds a Commission in Military and Strategic Leadership from the Royal Military Academy and completed education at Settle High School and Community College.
