Philip Krauss

Philip Krauss has been in the software engineering industry since 2005. Philip began as a freelance web developer and consultant, before becoming a student researcher at Universität Innsbruck in 2010. In 2012, they joined Barracuda Networks as a Senior Staff Software Engineer. In 2019, they moved to Elastic as a Senior Engineering Manager and then to Stellate in 2022 in the same role. Philip is currently a Senior Engineering Manager at Xata.io since 2023.

Philip Krauss obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science from Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck. Philip then attended the Lycée technique des Arts et Métiers before continuing their education at the University of Liverpool, where they earned a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Software Engineering. Additionally, they have a certification in Usability Engineer from the Fraunhofer-Institut.
