Yannis Peyret

Yannis Peyret is the current Head of Finance & Operations at Xata. Yannis has also served as the Chief Financial Officer at Holberton School from April 2018 to December 2021. Yannis was a part of the founding team at Docker, Inc. and has also worked with TechCrunch and University of Southern California.

Peyret started their professional journey as a student at the USC Marshall School of Business in 2008. Yannis later joined TechCrunch as a part of the finance team in 2011. In 2013, they became a part of the founding team at Docker, Inc. and played an integral role in the growth of the company. Yannis left Docker in 2018 to join Holberton School as their Chief Financial Officer.

At Holberton, Peyret created the finance and legal team and built a scalable business model. Yannis managed the FP&A and Treasury directly while overseeing the Finance & Accounting, Legal, Tax and HR departments. Yannis's team laid the foundation for international expansion with a cross-border and multi-currency structure, as well as international trademarks and patents.

Peyret’s experience in finance and operations has been instrumental in their current role at Xata. Yannis has used their skills to build a strong financial foundation for the company and has been instrumental in its growth.

Yannis Peyret graduated from the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Finance, Entrepreneurship, and Business Administration. Yannis also attended Burlingame High School.

Yannis Peyret reports to Monica Sarbu, Founder & CEO. They work with Tejas Kumar - Director, Developer Experience, Tudor Golubenco - CTO.
