Adam Arterbery, Ph.D.

Adam Arterbery, Ph.D. has a diverse professional background, beginning with a role as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Yale University School of Medicine in 2009. Adam then served as a Postdoctoral Associate and Junior Faculty Research Scientist at the same university. In 2012, Adam became the Director of Mixed Martial Arts and Wrestling at Connecticut Speed School (Breakout Athlete). From 2015 to 2017, they were the Head Wrestling Coach at Hamden Hall Country Day School. During this time, they also held a role as an Associate Director of Analytical Development and Analytical Development and Quality Control Scientist - Microbiome at Assembly Biosciences, Inc. In 2021, Adam was appointed as the Director of Analytical Development at Vedanta Biosciences, Inc., and they currently serve as the Senior Director of Research and CMC at Xbiome.

Adam Arterbery, Ph.D. began their educational journey at the University of Denver, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Psychology in 2004. Adam then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy in Neurobiology and Behavior at Cornell University, which they completed in 2009.
