Vice President of Design at Xcel Brands

Faith Lucas has extensive experience in design and creative direction. Faith currently holds the position of Head of Design at FATHE, LLC since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at GSTQ as a Creative Director from July 2019. Faith also worked as a Head of Design and Design Consultant at their own business from May 2019. Before that, they were a Creative Director at Faith Lucas from January 2019. Faith gained valuable experience as the Vice President of Design and Design Director at Xcel Brands, Inc. from March 2018 and September 2015, respectively. Faith also held the role of Design Director Liz Claiborne Collection at JCPenney, where they were responsible for leading the design for Liz Claiborne Collection and A.N.A. from August 2011 to February 2015. Before venturing into self-employment, Faith Lucas worked as a Design Consultant at various companies, including Tommy Hilfiger, where they headed the women's collection for the H-line label, and Oshkosh B'Gosh, where they directed the design for girls and toddlers and launched a tween denim line. Faith'scareer in design began at The GAP, where they served as the Design Director for wovens and played a key role in initiating and launching design classics.

Faith Lucas has pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a field of study in Fashion/Apparel Design at Parsons School of Design - The New School. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Arts High School and obtained a High School Diploma with a focus on Fashion/Apparel Design. Currently, Faith is enrolled in Glasgow Caledonian New York College, where they are expected to earn a Master's degree in Sustainability Studies from 2019 to 2023.
