Kimberly Bowser has a vast work experience in the fashion industry. Kimberly started as a Technical Designer at Polo Jeans Company in 1997 before moving on to become a Senior Designer at Nautica Jeans Company in 1998. From 2002 to 2005, they served as the Director of Design and Technical Design at FRx Clothing, overseeing men's and women's clothing. In 2005, they joined Elie Tahari as a Design Director and stayed with the company until 2012. During this time, they also worked as a Freelance Designer at Ralph Lauren from March to August 2012. In October 2012, they became the Creative Director at Jordan Louis, a position they held until January 2018. Currently, they are serving as the Vice President of Design at Xcel Brands, Inc. since June 2019, and prior to that, they were the Design Director for H Halston at the same company from January 2018 to June 2019.

Kimberly Bowser attended the Fashion Institute of Technology from an unknown start year until 1997, earning an Associate in Applied Science degree in Fashion Design.
