Wim Nagels

Wim Nagels has had an extensive work experience, primarily in the technology industry. Wim started their career as a Consultant at Softhelp bvba in 1995. Wim then worked as a Product Manager at Actebis NV, where they were responsible for introducing and selling a network product range into the Belgian market. Nagels then moved on to Ilion NV, where they served as a Product Manager. In 1999, they joined Xircom as a Product Manager for USB and Bluetooth products in the EMEA region. Following the acquisition of Xircom by Intel Corporation, Nagels took on various roles within the company. Wim served as a Product Marketing Manager for Ethernet and Xircom products in EMEA, a Channel Application Engineer in the BeNeLux region, a Distribution Business Manager in BeNeLux, and a Channel Field Sales Engineer and Server Champ for the Northern European Territory. Their responsibilities included driving sales, managing accounts, providing technical support, and enabling platform transitions. Nagels then became a Channel Server Manager for the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, and Nordics, where they were responsible for Intel's server channel strategy and revenue targets in the EMEA Data Center Sales Organization. Wim later took on the role of Sales Enabling and Connectivity Products Manager for EMEA, overseeing channel sales and engagement with stakeholders. Since 2018, Nagels has been working at Xeikon as a Product Manager and currently serves as the Director of Product Management, where they lead a team and provides support for day-to-day operations while ensuring consistency in communication, sales tools, and training across the organization. Wim has also implemented new reporting tools and introduced enhanced business intelligence practices.

Wim Nagels holds a Master's Degree in Industrial Sciences, specifically in the field of Master of Science in Industrial Sciences (Industrieel Ingenieur Electronica Telecommunicatie) from KU Leuven (Campus De Nayer). In addition, they have obtained several certifications in various areas such as coaching skills, Qlik Sense, InDesign, IoT foundations, cybersecurity awareness, and print production, among others.
