Bente Schmidt-Nielsen

Bente Schmidt-Nielsen has over 30 years of experience in finance and accounting. Bente began their career at Dumex (Alpharma) in 1988, where they worked as Chief Accountant and later as Director of Accounting. In 1996, they joined Novia as Finance Manager before moving to Alpharma in 1999 as Head of Finance. Bente then worked at KPMG as a Finance Manager from 2003 to 2005. Following this, they returned to Alpharma and held the position of Director of Accounting and Control until 2008. Since then, Bente has been with Xellia Pharmaceuticals, first as Director of Accounting, Control, and Reporting, and currently as the Director of Corporate Finance.

Bente Schmidt-Nielsen holds an HD (R) degree from Copenhagen Business School.
