Michael Egede Madsen has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, primarily at Xellia Pharmaceuticals since January 2011, where various senior specialist roles focus on quality excellence, technology transfer, and project management for sterile and non-sterile APIs. Prior to this, Michael worked at Alpharma from May 1997 to December 2010, holding positions such as Director of Fill Finish Projects and Director of Final Handling. Responsibilities included overseeing the transfer of new products, managing supply chains, and developing quality assurance systems. Michael's career began as a Project Engineer at Dumex-Alpharma in 1996. Michael holds a Master's degree in Biotechnology, Chemistry, and Biochemistry from the Technical University of Denmark and a high school degree from Sorø Akademis Skole.
