Tannaz Tayyarian

Tannaz Tayyarian, Ph.D., is an engineer with specialized experience in nuclear auxiliary systems and materials applications. Currently serving as an Engineer IV at X-energy, Tannaz has previously worked as a Material Applications Engineer at Nanoarmor, as well as holding positions such as Lab Manager and Postdoctoral Fellow, and Research Assistant at The Catholic University of America. Tannaz's research and development expertise was further honed at the Razi metallurgical research center. Tannaz holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering, both obtained from The Catholic University of America.
