Ayman Haq is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel for Global Partnerships & Projects at Xero since November 2021. Prior experience includes serving as Legal Counsel at Partners Group, where Ayman Haq advised on mergers and acquisitions while managing external legal negotiations and regulatory filings. Ayman Haq’s expertise in mergers and acquisitions and private equity was further honed as a Senior Associate at Vinson & Elkins, representing various companies in strategic transactions. Previous roles include Associate at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, and arbitration research at the American Arbitration Association. Ayman Haq earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) magna cum laude from the University of Houston Law Center, following a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Maritime Administration from Texas A&M University Galveston Campus.
