Daniel MacÍas-Galindo

Daniel Macías-Galindo is a seasoned data scientist with a strong background in ontology and data analysis. Currently serving as the Data Team Lead at Xero since August 2021, Daniel focuses on data analysis for the Xero Small Business Insights team. Previous experience includes a role as Senior Research Engineer at Sensis, where Daniel worked on the Sensis Ontology and developed prototypes for internal business needs. Additionally, as a Product Specialist at Sensis, Daniel created an Ontology for better business classification. Daniel's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Computer Science from RMIT University, a Master's in Computer Science from Benemerita Universidad Autonoma de Puebla, and a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering from UPAEP. Daniel has also contributed to academia as a lecturer and lab assistant in various computer science topics.
