Rikhia Chakraborty

Rikhia Chakraborty currently serves as the Chief Scientific Officer and Vice President of Research and Operations at Nilogen Oncosystems since March 2023. Prior to this role, Rikhia held the position of Senior Manager for Innovation and Partnership Research in Immuno-oncology and Cell Therapy at Xilis from August 2021 to March 2023. Rikhia's extensive academic background includes over a decade at Baylor College of Medicine, where Rikhia served as Assistant Professor and Instructor, along with a position as Postdoctoral Associate. Rikhia's research experience also includes a tenure as a Research Scientist at Texas Children's Hospital from April 2013 to January 2015. Rikhia earned a Ph.D. in Cancer Biology from Lerner Research Institute in 2009, a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Guru Nanak Dev University in 2004, and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology, Botany, and Chemistry from the University of Calcutta in 2002.
