Katelyn Hallam has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations and roles.
Katelyn began their career at the City of Cedar Park in 2012 as an Assistant Pool Manager, where they gained valuable experience in managing and overseeing pool operations.
Katelyn then transitioned to the Africa Center for Strategic Studies in 2015, where they worked as a Research and Program Specialist for a short period.
Katelyn went on to join the Scowcroft Institute at The Bush School in 2013, where they served as a Staff member for three years.
During their time at The Bush School, Katelyn also pursued their studies and completed their degree as a Student from 2014 to 2016.
Most recently, they worked at XLA as a Deputy Recruitment Team Lead for USAID/OTI. In this role, they were responsible for managing communication with applicants, agency staff, and the general public. Katelyn also played a key role in the recruitment process for government staff, conducting interviews and checking references. Additionally, Katelyn assisted in developing recruitment plans and expanding the recruitment network.
Katelyn Hallam obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International/Global Studies from Texas A&M University in 2014. Katelyn further pursued their education and completed their Master's Degree in International Relations and Affairs at Texas A&M University - The Bush School of Government and Public Service from 2014 to 2016.
