Abhijit Ghosh

Abhijit Ghosh is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in cybersecurity and engineering. Currently serving as VP CDR at XM Cyber since March 2023, Ghosh focuses on delivering advanced Cloud Detection and Response capabilities for hybrid cloud infrastructure. Abhijit co-founded Confluera, where Ghosh held roles as Co-Founder & CTO and later as Co-Founder & CEO until its acquisition by XM Cyber in February 2023, pioneering the industry's first extended detection and response solution for cloud platforms. From 2005 to 2018, Ghosh was Director of Engineering at Juniper Networks, contributing to the Mx Series Universal Edge Routing platform and holding multiple patents. Ghosh's early career includes key technical roles at Azanda Network Devices, Cadence Design Systems, and Siemens, complemented by a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Cincinnati. Additionally, Ghosh is an Official Member of the Forbes Technology Council since August 2022.
