Matthew Quinn

Matthew Quinn has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity. 🔵 Matthew is currently serving as the Technical Director - Northern Europe at XM Cyber since October 2021. Prior to this, Matthew worked at Digital Shadows as a Senior Sales Engineer from April 2020 to October 2021. Before that, they held the position of Sales Engineer at Digital Shadows from March 2017 to April 2020.

Matthew also has experience working at SecureData Europe, where they served as an Enterprise Pre-Sales Consultant from November 2013 to March 2017. In this role, they helped organizations understand security and operational risks and identified solutions to enhance their operational levels while keeping data secure.

Furthermore, Matthew worked at Secon, where they held various positions including Professional Services Director from January 2012 to November 2013, Managed Services Manager from January 2009 to December 2011, Pre-Sales Security Consultant from March 2006 to January 2009, and Technical Support Engineer from August 2005 to March 2006.

Prior to joining Secon, Matthew worked as a Technical Support Engineer at Network Utilities from July 2003 to August 2005.

Matthew Quinn obtained a BSc in Information Systems Development from the University of Bedfordshire, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Prior to attending university, they completed their secondary education at Southborough School from 1991 to 1998. Additionally, Matthew has obtained several certifications including F5 Accredited Technical Sales Professional, F5 Accredited Sales Professional, LogRhythm 101-105 and 201-202, F5 Accredited Security Pre-Sales Professional, Aruba ClearPass Sales Specialist, Aruba Sales Specialist, Aruba WLAN Quickstart Sales Specialist, F5 Accredited Security Sales Professional, Securing The Human: Building & Deploying an Effective Security Awareness Program, ITIL Foundation, Prince2 Foundation, Websense WSGA v7.5 201 Certified, Network Security Expert 1 (NSE1), and Riverbed Certified Solutions Associate (RCSA) - WAN Op (Steelhead). The certifications were obtained between 2011 and 2017, with specific dates provided for each certification.
