Michael McCabe has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles.

Starting in 2005, they worked as a Forecourt Assistant at Texaco, where they assisted in running a busy service station. Michael then transitioned to a Part-time Store Assistant at SPAR in 2007, contributing to the operations of a small supermarket.

In 2010, Michael took on a Part-time Barman role at Mexx Nightlife, a well-established hotel and night club. Michael worked there for two years before joining Arthur Mallon Foods in 2012 as a General Operative in a sausage factory.

In 2014, Michael worked as a Store Associate at Build-A-Bear Workshop, a teddy-bear themed retail-entertainment experience. Michael also served as a Maintenance Engineer at C&D Foods (ABP Group), a pet food production facility.

In 2016, Michael joined DALTECH as an Automation Engineer, contributing to innovative engineering solutions using cutting-edge technology. Michael then moved to Hanley Energy GCC - Global Competence Centre in 2017, initially working as a Control Systems Engineer and later promoted to Senior Control Systems Engineer.

Most recently, Michael started working as a Control Systems Engineer at XOCEAN in 2021, using their expertise in control systems.

Throughout their career, Michael has gained experience in engineering, maintenance, operations, and customer service, showcasing their versatility and adaptability.

Michael McCabe received their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Dublin City University, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained their Leaving Certificate from St. Macartan's College in Monaghan, completing their studies there from 2003 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Michael McCabe obtained the Ignition Gold 8.1 Certification from Inductive Automation in January 2023.
