Michael Arnold

Michael Arnold has held a variety of roles in the past 14 years. In 2007, they started as a Consultant at Deloitte and then moved to Market Street Solutions as a Consultant in 2008. In 2009, they became a Data Analyst at Franklin American Mortgage Company, where they maintained legacy Perl scripts, developed programming standards, and monitored and maintained numerous critical B2B and B2G EDI processes. In 2012, they joined HealthTrust Purchasing Group as a Manager for Data Integration and Senior Data Integration Engineer, where they designed and developed an ETL support and utility framework in Groovy and modified a data vault model to facilitate bulk loading of data. In 2016, they joined LectServe as an Open Source Developer, where they built backend libraries in Perl 5, packaged and distributed them, and built a modular lectionary system. Michael also joined LifeWay Christian Resources as Manager of Software Engineering, where they led the development and portfolio management of legacy mobile applications on iOS and Android. In 2018, they became a Senior Data Engineer, AVP at Citizens Bank. Finally, in 2021 they joined XOi Technologies as Director of Engineering and Data Team Lead.

Michael Arnold obtained their High School Diploma from Virgil I. Grissom High School in 2002, having studied German, Comparative Politics, and English Spelling Reform. Michael then attended The University of Alabama, graduating in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, specializing in Management Information Systems and German. Finally, they obtained a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from Vanderbilt University in 2019.
