Jim Bertolina

Jim Bertolina has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 1989 as a Graduate Student / Researcher at the University of Virginia Neurosurgical Visualization Laboratory. In 1998, they moved to Stryker as Technical Director of Surgical Navigation. In 2004, they returned to Xoran Technologies as VP of Product Development. In 2007, they became VP of Content Development at Maestro eLearning Inc. and in 2009 they moved to HistoSonics Inc. as VP R&D/Chief Scientific Officer. In 2018, they took on two roles, VP R&D at FlexDex Surgical and Monitoring Platform Director at Terumo Cardiovascular Group. Most recently, in 2021, they returned to Xoran Technologies as Director of Business Development and Manager of New Product Development.

Jim Bertolina received their PhD in Engineering Physics from the University of Virginia in 1995. Jim had previously earned a BS and MS in Physics from the University of Utah between 1983 and 1990. Jim attended Skyline High School prior to their university studies.
