Paul Sivaswamy

Paul Sivaswamy has extensive work experience in supply chain, procurement, and project management. Paul currently holds the position of Vice President Supply Chain at Xos Trucks, starting in April 2023. Prior to this role, Paul worked as the Head of Procurement & Supply Chain at Gatik from December 2021 to January 2023. Paul also served as a Procurement & Supply Chain Executive Consultant at Gilead Executive Consulting LLC from May 2021 to November 2021.

Before their consulting role, Paul had a long tenure at Caterpillar Inc. where they held multiple positions. From August 2017 to April 2021, they served as the Global Procurement Leader - IT & Strategic Consulting, responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies for supply chain optimization. Prior to this, they were a Senior Procurement Manager and a Procurement Manager, leading various procurement-related activities and cost savings initiatives. Paul also worked as a 6 Sigma Black Belt, completing over 25 projects, and an IT Project Manager, overseeing multiple projects.

Before joining Caterpillar Inc., Paul worked at Sun Technologies as a Database Administrator Team Lead, providing technical consulting for Caterpillar Inc. with a focus on DB2/UDB. Paul also gained experience as an IT Project Manager at Tata Consultancy Services, managing multiple projects.

In addition to their corporate roles, Paul also served as a Teaching Leader at Bible Study Fellowship since January 2009.

Paul Sivaswamy's education history includes a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Supply Chain Management and International Business from Bradley University, which they completed from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's Degree in Information Technology from the National Institute of Technology Warangal from 1992 to 1995. Paul'sBachelor's Degree in Mathematics was earned from PB Siddhartha College of Arts & Science, where they studied from 1989 to 1991.

In addition to their formal education, Paul has also obtained certifications in "How to Make Strategic Thinking a Habit" and "Planning for Your Hybrid Organization" from LinkedIn in May 2021 and March 2021, respectively.
