Ameya Yellapurkar

Ameya Yellapurkar is a Principal Software Engineer at Xperi Inc. since September 2018, leading the development of active-active deployment services across multiple regions. Previously, Ameya contributed significantly to the back end engineering team, focusing on microservices for various TiVo products, achieving a 75% reduction in AWS costs by transitioning a monolithic service into a microservices architecture. Prior experience includes roles at Infinera, where Ameya led the Security module, and Cisco, contributing to the Converged Managed Services Platform. Ameya began a career at Ericsson, working on network monitoring and charging systems. Education includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Sri Jayachamrajendra College of Engineering, Mysore.
