Simon Barnes

Simon Barnes has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Simon currently holds the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Xperience, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Shared Services Director at Xperience from April 2022 to January 2023.

From 2010 to 2022, Simon worked at Riverlite Ltd, where they held various roles. Simon started as a Principal Consultant and was responsible for designing, delivering, and supporting onsite and cloud hosted solutions. Simon later became the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and maintained overall technical solution responsibility at the company.

During their time at Riverlite, Simon also assisted Citrix as a Subject Matter Expert. Simon contributed to writing, editing, and developing training materials for the NetScaler 10 curriculum.

Before Riverlite, Simon worked at ISC Networks as a Technical Engineer, providing 3rd line support and assistance to customers with Citrix technologies. Simon also gained experience working as an IS Systems Engineer at Cambridgeshire Constabulary, troubleshooting and resolving IT issues. Simon's career began at MCSA Group Ltd as an Engineer, where they performed onsite engineering tasks and was part of a team involved in a large-scale Windows migration project.

Overall, Simon Barnes has a strong technical background in IT, with extensive experience in leadership roles, technical consulting, and support.
