Jim Dovey

Jim Dovey is an experienced software engineer with a robust background in developing applications for various platforms, particularly in the Apple ecosystem. Currently working as a tvOS SwiftUI Engineer at Apple since May 2020, Jim has held multiple significant roles, including Co-Founder and Staff Engineer at XPlatform Consulting and LinkedIn, where contributions were made to iOS and Android infrastructure. Previous experience includes a Senior Software Engineer position at Apple, focusing on watchOS, and leading the development of the Readium SDK while co-founding the Readium Foundation during tenure at Kobo Inc. Jim's professional journey also includes freelance software engineering and management roles, alongside a solid educational foundation from The University of Salford.
