Rahav Shamir has worked in the Quality Assurance field since 2014. rahav began their career as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at Cardo Systems, Inc. where they were a member of the R&D team and was responsible for Quality Assurance for new released software versions and features, as well as designing tests for new products. In 2013, they moved to NICE Systems as a Service Desk Specialist, supporting a project in the field of Mobile Device Security (Tier2) and monitoring mobile devices in the system. In 2010, Rahav Shamir began working with Tikshoov Global as a Customer Care Manager (managerial track), where they were responsible for monitoring team member's performance, analyzing team member's reports, and introducing a new telephony system. Finally, from 2002 to 2010, Rahav Shamir worked at Anriko Chen LTD. Real Estate and Business Entrepreneurship as a Regional Ground Operations and Operational Manager, where they were in charge of defining and characterizing organizational needs and supervising and administrating company-wide organizational processes. Since 2017, Rahav Shamir has been working as a QA Engineer at Zerto, and since 2020 they have been working as a Quality Assurance Engineer at XRHealth.

Rahav Shamir began their education in 1988 at an agricultural school. rahav then attended Netanya Academic College from 1999 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science. From 2009 to 2012, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing at the same college. In 2012, they attended Naya Technologies College for a Data Platform BI course.
