Job description

We're seeking a passionate and dynamic professional to join our team on a full time basis. This role is perfect for someone deeply ingrained in the video gaming world, with an innate understanding of games, developers, and the vibrant communities that bring them to life. You will be the face of our brand within the developer community, advocating for our suite of monetization and payment solutions while forging meaningful relationships with game developers and publishers across the UK.

In this role, you will fortify existing client relationships, forge new opportunities through your expansive gaming network, and cultivate a robust pipeline of business prospects. Reporting directly to the Business Development Director EMEA, you will operate as an individual contributor tasked with developing a systematic process for selling solutions at scale to smaller publishers and developers, thus ensuring your ability to penetrate diverse market segments effectively.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Community Engagement: Actively participate in online and offline gaming communities, events, and forums to build and maintain strong relationships with developers and publishers.

  • Development: Identify and engage potential clients, understand their needs and how Xsolla’s solutions can address them, driving new business opportunities.

  • Client Support: Offer consultative support to game developers and publishers, helping them integrate Xsolla's solutions into their games. Performance-related incentives will be provided for every successful integration.

  • Travel: Willing to travel regularly, nationally, and occasionally internationally to meet with clients, attend events, and support our global initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Gaming Network: Extensive knowledge of the gaming industry and game development studios in the UK (mobile or PC/console).

  • Experience: Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the gaming industry is highly desirable.

  • Communication Skills: Interpersonal skills, with the capacity to engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders.

  • Technical Acumen: While not a developer, you should understand the technical aspects of game development and integration processes to provide effective consultations.

  • Flexibility: Ability to travel extensively and work flexible hours to attend industry events and meet with clients as needed.

  • Team Player: Though this role operates with a high degree of autonomy, you'll be part of a global team, requiring excellent collaboration skills.

Desirable:- Experience within an entrepreneurial environment.

  • Public speaking experience.
  • Deep understanding and love for video games.
  • Knowledge of the UK mobile and PC/Console indie gaming market.
  • Previous experience working with indie gaming studios in the UK.
