Tim Beatty

Tim Beatty has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Tim is currently serving as the Director of Data Science and Machine Learning at Xtract One Technologies since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an AI Specialist at the same company from July 2020 to January 2023.

Before joining Xtract One Technologies, Tim held the position of Machine Learning Architect at Eigen Innovations Inc. from January 2019 to July 2020. Tim also worked as a Software Developer at Resson from January 2016 to December 2018 and at Apprento from August 2014 to December 2015.

Tim has extensive experience in the field of software development, having served as a Senior Software Developer at Salesforce Radian6 from July 2009 to August 2014 and as a Software Developer at Accreon from 2008 to 2009.

Prior to their software development roles, Tim worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of New Brunswick from September 2006 to May 2008. Tim also worked as a Software Developer at both Radian6 Technologies and Q1 Labs (IBM Security) in 2006. Tim began their professional career as a Software Developer at Q1 Labs (IBM Security) from May 2005 to September 2005 and from September 2004 to December 2004.

Tim Beatty obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of New Brunswick in 2001. Following this, they pursued an Applied Information Technology Diploma at the Information Technology Institute from 2001 to 2002. Tim then went on to complete a Bachelor of Computer Science degree at the University of New Brunswick from 2003 to 2006. Finally, they obtained a Master of Computer Science degree from the University of New Brunswick from 2006 to 2008.
