Alexandre Castera

Alexandre Castera has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. Alexandre began their career as an Intern in the French Army (Firefighter Department) at the Brigade des sapeurs pompiers de Paris (BSPP) in 2013. In 2014, they worked on an entrepreneurial project at Ecole Polytechnique. In 2015, they worked as a Data Analyst at Novomed, where they optimized commercial performances by statistic analysis, found purchasing synergies, and made a stock management tool. In 2016, they worked as a New Mobility Analyst at PSA Peugeot Citroën. In 2017, they became a Computer Vision Engineer at PROPHESEE. In 2019, they took on the role of Computer Vision Team Lead at Aptol Systems Inc. Most recently, in 2021, they became the Director of Engineering at XXII.

Alexandre Castera completed a High School degree with high honors at Lycée Sainte Marie Grand Lebrun in 2011. Alexandre then pursued Classes préparatoires scientifique, filière PSI* at College Stanislas from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, they earned a Master’s Degree in Advanced Optimization, Business strategy and Mathematical Finance from École Polytechnique. In 2016, they completed the Learn2Launch Program in Entrepreneurship - Data Science at the University of California, Berkeley.
