Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions for educational devices. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris focuses on hardware development for DViT interactive whiteboards and other accessories. Prior experience includes roles as a firmware engineer at SMART Technologies, where firmware and diagnostic tools were created, an electronics contractor for Science Alberta Foundation, and an electronics engineer at Grindcom, developing control systems for forestry equipment. Additionally, Chris has served as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
