Tenzin Jorden

Tenzin Jorden currently serves as the Ward 22 Co-Chair for the City of New Haven and has held various roles at Yale Daily News, including Photography Desk Editor and Staff Photographer, where contributions include the launch of the Humans of New Haven column. Tenzin is also the official photographer for Yale's mascot and visitor center, capturing key events for social media. Previous experiences include internships at the New York Hotel Trades Council focusing on labor organizing and operations, advocacy work with the Migration Alliance at Yale, and mentorship at Rokpa Mentorship. Tenzin's educational background includes pursuing a bachelor's degree in Philosophy at Yale University, following a high school diploma from Henry P Becton High School. Prior positions include camp counseling and instructing at Kumon North America.
