Lynan Scott is an experienced mining engineer currently serving as the Short Term Planning Superintendent at Yancoal Australia Ltd since March 2020, overseeing a team responsible for designing and implementing short-term plans for coal extraction and related operations. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Mining Engineer and Mining Engineer at Bengalla Mining Company, where responsibilities involved senior design engineering and forecasting for coal and dump schedules. Lynan has also worked at Yancoal Australia Ltd in various engineering capacities, including a role as a Mining Engineer, and at Rio Tinto as both a Mining Engineer and Graduate Mining Engineer, gaining substantial experience across diverse mining functions.
