Shashi Shekhar Singh has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Shashi Shekhar is currently serving as the SVP Operations at Yango since 2024. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Early Stage Markets at Yango from 2023 to 2024.

Before joining Yango, Shashi worked at Swvl, where they held various roles including Senior Director of Operations and Experience from 2022 to 2023, Director Of Operations & Experience from 2021 to 2022, and Head of Marketplace and Supply Ops from 2020 to 2021. During their tenure at Swvl, Shashi accomplished e2e digital transformation of operations, implemented process excellence, and significantly improved customer satisfaction and ratings.

Earlier in their career, Shashi worked at Uber Eats as a Senior Operations Manager from 2017 to 2020. Shashi Shekhar successfully managed marketplace and operations for multiple cities, introduced innovative initiatives, and achieved cost and supply optimization.

Shashi also has experience working at Autoninja as an Associate Vice President, Business Operations from 2015 to 2017, and at The Coca-Cola Company as an Area Sales Manager and Management Trainee in 2014 and 2015 respectively.

Shashi Shekhar Singh completed a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2010. Later, from 2012 to 2014, Singh pursued a postgraduate degree in Business Administration and Management, General (PGDM) from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. In addition to these formal education qualifications, Singh obtained two certifications related to blockchain technology in the year 2022: "Blockchain A-Z™: Learn How To Build Your First Blockchain" and "Introduction to Blockchain with Industry Applications" from Udemy: Online Courses.
